Acupuncture has been used to improve the small
and sagging breasts, or to correct other breast cosmetic issues in
China and other Asian areas for over 30 years. It firstly started
among the celebrities and because it is natural, effective and
side-effect free, now becomes more popular in various groups of
women.
How does it wok?
According to Chinese medicine, normal breast
development relies mainly on the normal functioning of Kidney,
Spleen, and Liver organs, which may correspond to sex hormonal,
nutritional, and mental aspects in the views of bio-physiology. The
causes of small, sagging breasts or inverted nipples can be related
to the disorders or disharmony of these organs. Other organs such as
Heart and Lungs could also influence the breasts
indirectly.
Therefore cosmetic breast augmentation by
acupuncture is not just a local breast issue. We will
analyze the individual patient and decide what are the internal (root)
causes; the treatment plan is then made accordingly. The breast
cosmetic improvements by acupuncture start "from inside out" and may
be achieved through the following mechanisms:

Are you a candidate for acupuncture breast
enhancement?
Unlike breast implant surgery, which may results
in complications (such as infection, bleeding, immune reactions,
scarring, capsular contracture, deflation or rupture, and
removal-replacement), acupuncture breast augmentation/enhancement is
natural, pain free and has no scars. The candidates for acupuncture
breast enhancement may include females (from 16 to 55 years old),
who want to choose a non-surgical approach to improving breast
cosmetic image due to the following conditions:

Unequal breasts
Sagging breasts
Inverted nipples
Women who are having relative normal
breasts may also want receiving the treatment to maintain or,
prevent the premature sagging of breasts.
Patients with breast cancer, blood coagulation
disorders, or severe immune deficient diseases are not recommended
for the acupuncture breast augmentation treatment.
Techniques, and how many sessions?
The treatment is mainly by acupuncture, although moxibustion and
Chinese herbal formula may also be applied when it is necessary. The
success is greatly based on the accurate assessment (diagnosis), thoughtful
selection of meridians/points (and herb formula), and the
perceptive needling techniques, all of which requires significant
clinical insights and expertise.
The numbers of treatment sessions needed vary, usually from 8 to 24 sessions and
at least 2 sessions per week to start with. When the desired
results have been achieved, the visits are tapered down to once a
week, once every two weeks, and then once per month to stabilize the
results. Additional
sessions may be required in some particular cases.
What to expect?
The size increase from acupuncture breast augmentation is not as dramatic
as that from surgical breast implantation. Most patients experienced
the breast cosmetic improvements after 4 to 8 sessions. As
to breast size enhancement, according the data from
China, 30% women changed from none to A or A+ cup; 40% women changed
from A cup to B cup, and 30% from A cup to C cup, after two to six
months of treatment.
The variation of treatment results is related to
(1) the genetic factors, (2) general health conditions, and (3) the
individual sensitivity to the acupuncture.
The results, once achieved, are normally stable as
long as the patients maintain good general health. Through the acupuncture breast augmentation treatment, you may find
