Henry
D. W u, MD, MS, Dipl.Ac, graduated from Sun Yat-Sen
Medical College (6-year medical program) at Guangzhou, China.
After graduation, he was further trained in traditional Chinese
medicine, acupuncture and medical Qigong at Fujian College of
Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, where he has
practiced internal medicine and cardiology, and integrated
Western-Chinese medicine for 9 years before practicing in the
United States. Dr. Wu also holds his Master's degree in molecular
biology in the United States and had years of experience in
biomedical researches at Texas Medical Center, Houston, TX.
Henry is certified in both
acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine by NCCAOM in USA. He is a
professional member and certified Level IV Qigong Teacher, a top
certification, of American
National Qigong
Association (NQA).
Dr. Wu has a very unique
academic background that integrates insights of Western medicine,
Chinese traditional medicine and molecular-medical sciences and,
as a native Chinese, his personality and intellectual character
are deeply enriched by the ancient wisdom of philosophy,
traditional Chinese culture (including Chinese fine calligraphy, a
most sophisticate form of Chinese fine art), all of which gives
him a higher vision in his clinical practice.
Sharon
Yingping Weng, MD (China), MS, Dipl.Ac, has over 23
years acupuncture & Chinese herb medicine clinical experience in
China and the USA. She graduated with her MD degree in Chinese
medicine from a 5-year medical program in
Fujian University of
Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and has
been certified by NCCAOM in the United States. Dr. Weng was an
attending physician at Fujian Province People's Hospital, Fuzhou,
China, where she has practiced acupuncture and Chinese medicine
for 10 years before prac ticing
in the USA.
Yingping
came from a family with a tradition of Chinese medical practice.
Her well-known clinical skills and caring personality are thought
a gift inherited from her grandfather, who was a famous Chinese
medical doctor of the town.
Drs.
Wu and Weng has published a number of acupuncture and Chinese medicine
clinical research papers in addition to three coauthored chapter
books, including A Clinical Manual of
Integrated Chinese Traditional and Western Medicine (1989),
and Clinical Case Studies
(English, 1994).
